Co-Packing
El Pinto Foods started manufacturing our own products to achieve the highest level of quality that our owners Jim and John Thomas demanded. Our sense of detail, pride and integrity is of the upmost importance and we will treat your product like our own. Several packaging formats are available in various sizes for your branded product.
Hot-fill
Hot-fill packaging is a technique where a combination of time and temperature is used to sterilize both the food product and the container during the food packaging process. The plant has various thermal processes to meet your needs including kettle cook and heat exchangers bringing your product to a high temperature in a very short time, sometimes as little as two minutes. Your product is hot filled into the package and immediately cooled as needed. This will give your recipe a much better flavor than cooking it for hours.

The test kitchen is where our R&D team begins with your product and recipe. Since food manufacturing on a large scale is different than cooking in your kitchen, we analyze the recipe and decide on the best process to use to match the samples that you provide. Test batches are created on a small scale and once the product has been approved, we move forward with a larger trial batch.
Our Food Safety team will collect product samples and conduct the necessary tests to ensure product safety and quality.
Next, our team will help you through the regulatory processes of acquiring the proper food safety documentation and filing your product with FDA, as needed.
Finally, your product moves onto our schedule board for final production. Once production is completed, our Food Safety team will conduct final checks and then the product is released to you.
