Our co-packing and private label products are manufactured and packaged while taking our clients’ needs into account. We can offer assistance with packaging design, procurement, regulatory requirements, recipe development, and distribution.

The test kitchen is where our R&D team begins with your product and recipe. Since food manufacturing on a large scale is different than cooking in your kitchen, we analyze the recipe and decide on the best process to use to match the samples that you provide. Test batches are created on a small scale and once the product has been approved, we move forward with a larger trial batch.

Our Food Safety team will collect product samples and conduct the necessary tests to ensure product safety and quality.

Next, our team will help you through the regulatory processes of acquiring the proper food safety documentation and filing your product with FDA, as needed.

Finally, your product moves onto our schedule board for final production. Once production is completed, our Food Safety team will conduct final checks and then the product is released to you.



El Pinto is constantly researching and developing continuous improvement strategies. We look at current needs and industry best practices and adapt them to fit within our factory needs. In-house electrical and mechanical engineering, supported by a full fabrication, welding, and machine shop reduces the need for outside technical support. This enables us to analyze your product’s packaging specification and, when possible, adapt our production lines to efficiently accommodate your Brand.

What began as a small family-owned restaurant in 1962 has grown into a sizeable company with a 1,200 seat iconic restaurant, 35,000 sq foot manufacturing facility, organic green house, and an Animal Welfare Approved laying hen program for eggs, all located on the same estate in Albuquerque, NM. As a family run business, we maintain loyalty to all of our customers. We will treat you like family.


We maintain large Raw Goods and Finished Goods Warehouses on site with shipping daily across the nation. If our onsite facilities aren’t large enough to accommodate your production, we partner with local offsite ambient and cold storage facilities.
